Interview/Audio & Waiting for the Arcade Fire show to start

Arcade Fire played in Santa Fe at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center.  Many fans lined up hours before the show and one shares his reasons for coming so early to wait in line.

Follow the jump to see a picture of the line outside of the convention center.

Waiting, waiting, and more waiting

It’s not  unusual to see people waiting in line for a concert to start.  I’ve heard of people waiting the night before and camping out.  This happens with bigger bands at bigger arenas or convention centers.  I’ll admit I’ve waited a few hours before a concert, but I don’t look forward tot the wait.  When a really good band is playing, it feels like all I’m doing is waiting.

Security
As with all concerts security were surrounding the entrance and keeping an eye on the line. Luckily there weren’t any problems with fans and everything went smoothly.  Usually there are the occasional line cutters who wreak havoc because other people had been standing in line for hours on end.

More to come

Pictures and videos of the concert will come later, and I’m also planning on attending more concerts, so please keep your eyes peeled for more content.
